Overview: 

During this project your child will have fun learning about and tracing shadows. Add more fun by tracing various objects, talking about shadows, adding a background, and/or painting or coloring in the shadows. 

 

Project Directions:

Step One:

Step up your objects. You can do this project outdoors or indoors with a direct light source. What objects are you going to use?

​

Step Two: 

Trace your shadows using a writing/coloring material onto white paper.

​

Step Three:

Finish your artwork by coloring/painting your shadows, decorating the background, and/or adding various craft materials.
