Project Directions:

Step One:

Follow the recipe in the picture below.

Step Two:

Create a pinch pot! Click here for instructions on how to make it! Keep some dough aside for the next step.

Helpful Hints:

If you notice your dough is very soft and you are having trouble making the pinch pot add more salt and flour (in small increments) to the dough then try again.

If you notice your dough is cracking add more water (in small increments) to the dough then try again.

Step Three:

Pinch, roll, or squish your extra clay to make your monster's features such as spikes, a tongue, eyes, feet, etc.

Helpful Hint:

If your pinch pot is getting squished as you are working try letting the pinch pot sit and dry out for a bit before adding your features. If the pinch pot dries out too much then use a little water to attach pieces. If the pieces still will not stay attached glue them after step four.

Step Four:

Bake it at 250 degrees fahrenheit until dry (1-2 hours depending on thickness) then paint it!

If you don't have paint then just bake it. If you have pieces that would not stay attached then glue your pieces back together after they are baked.
