Overview:

Did you know that some artists create shadow art? In this type of art the shadow is more important than the objects assembled. During this project you will get a chance to create your own shadow art.

Project Directions:

Step One:

Draw the image you would like to create on a piece of paper. Tape the paper to the wall. Make sure you use tape that will not ruin the wall such as painters tape. If you are not sure if it will damage the wall ask your parents first before you add tape to the walls.

Step Two:

Set up your light source and start adding materials in front of the light that make a shadow inside of the drawing you created. Once you have filled the entire drawing with shadows. Remove the paper and tape and you have created your shadow art!
